Oh, the octopus millefeuille at the local L'anatra Italian Kitchen is a culinary revelation! Combine that with the delightful breakfast at Meadow Rise, featuring fresh, delicious fare, and you've got a foodie dream come true. The hosts, Clive and Wendy, add a dash of warmth to the experience, making you feel right at home!
While the WiFi was a bit quirky at times and the shower in the loft room was a wee bit cramped for tall folks, everything else shone bright and made the trip memorable.

The breakfast selection was fantastic, offering delicious scrambled eggs and mushrooms, while the hosts were genuinely friendly, providing helpful travel tips to enhance our stay.
The pillows could have been improved for a better night's rest, and the shower pressure was not ideal, making it difficult to rinse off comfortably after a long day.

The Deluxe Quadruple Room was spacious enough for a family, and the overall comfort made our two-night stay enjoyable. The garden view from our windows added a nice touch, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The shower pressure in the room was rather weak, impacting a proper rinse after a long day. The WiFi was also spotty at times, making it tough to stay connected. noise from guests checking in and out was a tad disruptive—especially the main entrance door that tended to create a ruckus when it caught on the carpet, leading to some loud slams. While the Deluxe Double Room had charm, it could’ve used a king-size bed to enhance sleeping comfort, especially for taller guests. The awkward shower setup in the loft room didn’t help much either.

The room was tidy and efficiently designed, making our family feel at ease. Mornings started joyfully with the delightful sounds of birds and a generous breakfast, including fresh fruit preserves. the shower pressure was disappointing, making it hard to refresh after outdoor activities, and the WiFi connection was inconsistent. Despite these drawbacks, the lovely atmosphere and hospitality offered a warm experience for our family.

It was just a strong match for a rapid stop in Bourton-on-the-Water with fantastic value. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a budget place, which made for a good night's sleep. Some stairs to the upper levels might be tricky for little ones so plan accordingly.
